Supply Chain Coordinator (12 month contract)

Melbourne. 12-month contract. Broad supply chain & ops role in a growing, haircare brand with international reach.

About the role

Supply Chain Coordinator (12-month parental leave cover)
Growth Bomb | South Yarra, Melbourne | $85,000 + super

Growth Bomb is an Australian hair care brand focused on scalp health. It was founded in 2021 and now has more than 25 products. You'll find it in Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, Woolworths, Coles and more than 1,500 independent pharmacies across Australia and New Zealand. It also sells in the US, UK, Europe, the UAE and Africa.

Growth Bomb is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to cover the Supply Chain & Operations Manager during her parental leave. It's a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension or a permanent role.

The role

You'll keep production, stock and deliveries on track across Australia, the US and the UK. The setup includes two main manufacturers, two freight forwarders and four third-party warehouses. Most days involve following up with suppliers, sorting out issues as they come up, and keeping everyone informed.

What you'll do:
  • Follow up with manufacturers and suppliers to keep production on schedule
  • Solve day-to-day issues such as missing artwork, damaged stock or delayed shipments
  • Check stock levels against forecast twice a month and flag anything at risk
  • Make sure the right files and documents go to the right market and retailer
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouses and the internal team
  • Keep the Sales team updated on delays and stock needs
  • Question quotes and price changes when something doesn't add up
You'll work alongside the Operations Assistant, who handles daily order processing and warehouse coordination. The Co-Founder signs off on cost decisions and is available when you need a second opinion.

Training and handover

You'll train alongside the Manager from your first day. She moves to working from home in January 2027, and you'll run the supply chain from mid-January to June 2027. When she returns, you'll gradually hand back responsibilities for the rest of the contract. Processes, lead times and supplier details are all documented.

An early start means more time for handover.

About you
  • 2 to 4 years in supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding or operations
  • Confident in Excel, including exporting data, working with formulas and presenting numbers
  • Careful with detail and good at tracking several things at once
  • Comfortable following up and raising issues early
  • Based in Melbourne
Retail or FMCG experience is the closest fit. Relevant experience from other sectors will also be considered. A background in finance or accounting is a plus. Experience with Cin7 or Xero is helpful, and training is provided.

Working arrangement

The team works from The Commons in South Yarra on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and from home on Monday and Friday. You may have an occasional early US call or late UK call. Hours are flexible around these.

Benefits include the full product range, a friends-and-family discount, and gym access in the building.
